Each bride carries a dream, a vision of how she wants to look and feel on her big day, so being entrusted to create a personalised look that enhances their natural beauty and radiance, is a true joy for me.
Wedding mornings are full of emotion, so I'm on hand to calm nerves, share laughter (or dance moves), and witness the emotional moments is incredibly fulfilling - I have definitely been known to shed a few tears on a wedding morning, especially at the grand reveal.
For me, it's not just about creating a stunning look; it's about making each bride feel confident, beautiful, and ready to walk down the aisle.
Trials
I always, always recommend my brides have a trial with me, not only does this mean we can get your bridal look exactly as you have envisioned it but it also means we get to spend time getting to know each other better, I will ask all sorts of questions about your wedding & generally we will have a lovely time chatting.
I generally allow 2 hours for a bridal trial which is included in your package, and this takes place at my home studio (NG11 7FT)on either a Wednesday, Friday, or the odd Saturday. I ask that you only bring a maximum of one guest to your trial due to space restrictions.
Additional bridal party members do not have to have a trial, however, for an additional charge, they are welcome to do so in the same time slot as you. Any trials not at the same time as the bride will incur a further charge.
ON your Day
I will travel to you on your wedding morning at the agreed time, whether that's at home or a separate venue. (Any location more than 10 miles from my home studio at NG11 7FT will be charged at 45p per mile thereafter.)
I will stay with you throughout the morning until you are ready to leave. I will plan timings with you at your trial but my aim is always to have all makeup done for everyone at least 1 hour before you are due to get into your dress. I am then on hand to assist with any other small tasks that might need doing such as drying flowers, buttoning your dress, or doing up jewellery.
I will also provide you with your very own mini touch up kit in case you want a top up before you hit the dance floor!
