Got Questions?

Here are some of the most commonly and frequently asked questions about wedding makeup and the service I provide.

How do I secure my wedding date with you?

How far in advance should I book you?

In order to confirm your date in my diary, I ask for signed terms and a deposit of £100. My terms are signed electronically and I ask for bank transfers to make payment so it's super quick and easy!

It's never too early to enquire and secure your wedding date as peak months and weekends tend to get booked up to a year in advance so I would recommend getting in touch as soon as you've confirmed your wedding date.

Should I have a Trial?

Do you charge for travel?

I include bridal trials as a standard in for all wedding bookings as I think they're really important. Your trial gives us the chance to discuss your vision for your wedding day. We'll go over your preferences, explore different looks, and tailor the makeup to reflect your individual taste. It serves as a dress rehearsal for your bridal look, allowing us to fine-tune every aspect and bring your vision to life.

Any locations more than 10 miles from NG11 7FT will incur a charge at 45p per mile.

When should I book my trial?

How long does the trial take and what do I need to do to prepare?

I recommend booking your trial 2-3 months before your wedding date. This is an ideal time to book as it means we have time to make adjustments if need be but also by this time you'll have bought your dress and decided on the overall style you envision so we can create a makeup look to complement that.

Please allow up to two hours for a bridal trial. If you can, come dressed wearing a similar colour to your wedding dress as it'll give you a better feel for how your makeup will look on your wedding day. I also ask that you come with cleansed and moisturised skin. It's also a great idea to bring along any photos of makeup ideas and things that you like so we can talk it all over and use this as inspiration to create your perfect makeup.

When is the final balance due?

What is the maximum number of people you can do makeup for per wedding?

Your final balance is due no later than 14 days before your wedding date.

I am able to do makeup for up to 8 people, including the bride, on a wedding day. However, for bookings of more than 4, I will bring an assistant with me in order to ensure we can get everyone ready in time. We will work together on timings before your wedding to make sure everyone is ready at least 1 hour before you need to leave for your ceremony.
